Dear patients
Due to the current situation, we must ask you to contact us immediately by telephone if you or close contacts show signs of a respiratory infection (cough, fever, sore throat)at the time of your operation. In such a case, do not come to our practice clinic without consulting us by telephone.
This is for your own protection and avoids endangering other patients and our staff.
We endeavour to keep the risk of infection as low as possible in our practice clinic and will continue our surgical activities as long as this is possible, taking all the necessary measures.

In the anaesthesia department of the Rosengasse Clinic, four trained specialists ensure safety and well-being during anaesthesia. In addition, state-of-the-art anaesthesia procedures such as the computer-controlled administration of sleeping pills and painkillers guarantee that you will sleep safely through the procedure. Of course, you will be professionally monitored by modern monitors so that we are immediately aware of any undesired reaction. Of course, you can also opt for a local anaesthetic for a minor operation. Local anaesthetic procedures can also be used in hand surgery. However, if during the operation you have the feeling that you would rather sleep through the whole thing, a general anaesthetic is still possible at any time. Drugs selected according to the latest scientific knowledge make it possible for you to feel pain-free immediately after the operation. In many cases you will even feel the desire to eat or drink something shortly after the operation. Our anaesthesia team reacts flexibly to your needs before, during and after the operation. We will be happy to explain the different anaesthetic options to you and work with you to find the best solution for you. Do not hesitate to tell us about any fears or uncertainties you may have. We can almost always find answers and solutions to all the questions you ask us.
